Fair Isle is a traditional stranded knitting technique originating from a small island in Scotland's Shetland archipelago. Featuring intricate patterns and motifs, Fair Isle is known for its distinctive geometric designs, warmth, and timeless appeal. This piece is inspired by the landscapes and culture of Northeast Scotland and the Northern Isles, reimagining age-old patterns in a palette drawn from the rugged coastlines, moorlands, and hills.

Blending tradition with innovation, Harley's signature seam-free knitwear is crafted using advanced 21st-century knitting technology. Knitted as a complete garment on flatbed tubular machines, each piece is made from premium natural fibers for exceptional comfort, minimal finishing, and reduced yarn waste.

Care

Hand wash your wool sweater in lukewarm water using a specialist wool wash soap. Rinse several times in clean lukewarm water, then gently squeeze to remove excess water. Lay flat to dry on a flat surface, easing gently back into shape whilst damp. Never mix colors whilst handwashing.

Do not use bleach or use detergents of any kind, as they can damage delicate wool fibers. If required, iron on a cool setting using a damp cloth to protect your garment. You may also dry clean your sweater using a specialist dry cleaner.

These short staple fibers are gently twisted as woolen spun yarns to preserve their luxurious handle and lightweight feel. As such, some degree of pilling can be expected in the initial stages. Gently use a wool comb to remove the excess fibers. Upon wear, the fibers will settle.
