Shipping/Returns

We ship worldwide. Receive free shipping in the U.S on orders over $35.

Items returned within 30 days of purchase in their original condition can be exchanged for a full refund. For items returned passed 30 days of purchase, we offer store credit. All sale of socks, undergarments and vintage items are final. Apothecary and pantry products (consumables) once opened cannot be returned or exchanged, unless defective.

We do not cover the shipping costs for online returns unless the product was defective or an error was made on our part.

Online orders are packaged within 2-3 business days of purchase. We typically send orders USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class (we use both equally) which takes an additional 2-3 days to arrive to your mailing address. However, if alternative shipping companies offer an equal shipping type at a lesser rate, we will choose that method.

If you need to modify your order, please contact us within an hour of placing it. We'll do our best to help with your order, but if it has been shipped out already, it can not be modified.

While international shipping is available, we advise that you calculate shipping costs during the checkout phase before completing orders. Depending on shipping destination, you may also be charged additional fees, taxes, or tariffs due to your country's customs regulations.

Whenever possible, we choose shipping materials that are eco-friendly, whether that means they are made from recycled content, are easily recyclable, or are biodegradable.

For small, lightweight items we use kraft paper mailers. They contain 90% post-consumer content, are curbside recyclable, and are compostable (though recycling is recommended over composting!).

Our boxes are made with 200lb corrugated cardboard, which is lightweight but sturdy. By using good-quality boxes, our hope is that they can be reused and repurposed before ultimately being recycled.

Packing material inside the box is usually a combination of new kraft paper (made from 100% recycled content, recyclable, and biodegradable) and clean, repurposed packing material that we receive in shipments from our vendors. Repurposed materials are often paper-based, but may occasionally include plastic components such as air pillows or bubble wrap when they are the best available option for filling empty space in a box. On rare occasions, we may need to use new plastic bubble wrap to protect highly breakable items. Remember that bubble wrap should not be placed in your recycling bin, but can be recycled anywhere plastic film is accepted

We use water-activated shipping tape that is made from 50% recycled paper. It’s recyclable, biodegradable, and requires less material per seal than pressure-sensitive polypropylene (clear packing) tape.

If items are made well, made honestly, and have a clear function then we will consider them as part of our collection.

Yes, you can. In fact, in addition to online research, antique markets, and global trade shows, the other way we find new makers is through referrals and suggestions from folks like you.
