Fager Inez Wristwarmers

Regular price $44.95

A pair of wool wrist warmers by Öjbro Vantfabrik. The fingerless design with an open thumb offers breathable warmth and everyday utility, allowing you to keep your hands toasty without losing freedom of movement. They can be tucked under the sleeves of your coat or sweater for full coverage, and easily slipped off once you're warm.

Drawing inspiration from traditional Nordic designs, Öjbro created their Fager motif to celebrate all the women who have embellished their mittens with stylized flower patterns throughout time. The design features a fair lily in traditional green and white colors.

From the designer,  Åse Öjbro:

I wanted to honor the immense work Carl Linnaeus has done for all of us, while continuing the tradition of creating beautiful floral patterns—something women have done throughout history to enrich everyday life and pass traditions on to future generations. My favorite garden flower is the iris, and it was a natural choice for me to include freesia lilies in my wedding bouquet. I hope to capture the love of our astonishing nature and all its beautiful flowers in this pattern.

Materials

100% Merino wool

To Measure Your Hand Circumference:

Wrap a tape measure around your hand at the base of the fingers, just above the thumb. Make sure the tape measure is close to your hand—not too tight but not too loose.

Please note that there are not separate finger holes on this wrist warmer. It is knit as an open tube with a separate thumb. The top of the tube comes roughly to the base of the fingers, but this will vary depending on how short or long your hand is.
