Use: Prepare your espresso maker as usual with water and ground coffee. Place the adapter on the induction hob, then set your aluminum espresso maker on the metal disc. Switch the induction hob on to medium-low heat. Do not use adapter without a load, as it may overheat.
When the coffee is finished brewing, turn off the induction hob and remove your espresso maker from the adapter disc. Allow the adapter to cool before handling.
Some folks use induction adapters on gas stoves when even the smallest burner is wider than the base of their coffee maker. The adapter helps distribute heat and keeps flames from reaching up the sides of the pot. While it isn’t designed for this purpose, many people find it works well.
Care: Gently hand wash with warm, soapy water, and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use scouring sponges or abrasive chemicals when cleaning, as they may damage the surface finish. Not dishwasher-safe.
