This special edition Kaweco Piston AL Sport features an aluminum body and a built-in piston mechanism which allows ink to be drawn directly into the pen’s integrated ink chamber. The smallest of its kind in terms of the ratio of pen size to ink-filling volume, this pen measuring just over 4" closed, making it ideal for on-the-go use. An integrated clip facilitates easy everyday carry.

While ink cartridges are the most common nowadays, the piston allows users to fill their fountain pens directly from the jar of your  bottled ink, rendering cartridges unnecessary. 

The transparent ink window allows you to see the ink level at all times. If the ink runs out, the pen can be refilled quickly and easily, thanks to the particularly smooth filling mechanism. This filling system also allows you to use inks in a range of colors.
