Esterbrook Blotter Paper

Used for centuries to absorb excess ink from handwritten text, blotter paper is designed to prevent smudging when writing or sketching with fountain pens, dip pens, and calligraphy pens. It is especially useful when working with slow-drying or heavily saturated inks.

This thick paper features a vintage Esterbrook logo and comes in multiple sizes to accommodate small and large work areas. In each pack, you'll receive five sheets. Three are full sized (8.3" x 4.9") while the other two are perforated into six smaller sheets measuring 4.9" x 2.8".

Materials:  blotting papers in a plastic sleeve

    Made by:  Esterbrook

    Specifications:

This pack of blotting papers includes:

    • 5 sheets of paper total in two paper sizes
    • 3 large sheets measuring 8.3" x 4.9"
    • 2 perforated sheets which yield six smaller sheets, each measuring 4.9" x 2.8"

Use: Gently lay the blotting paper, blank side down, on top of wet writing. Press straight down to ensure the blotting paper comes in contact with the ink. Don’t rub or move the blotting paper, as this will lead to smears and smudges.

Carefully remove the blotting paper and allow it to dry before using it again. Blotting paper can be used multiple times, although heavily used blotting paper could transfer color, especially when using lighter shades of ink.
