Enamel Bowl
Handmade in Austria, these enamel bowls by Riess are versatile tools in the kitchen. They’re made in a traditional shape and have two large handles that allow you to transport heavy mixtures with ease.
The bowls have rounded rims—known as rolled rims in enamel terms—and are available in three sizes. Use them as mixing bowls, for bread kneading and rising, or as serving bowls. The smallest bowl is perfect for ingredient prep or for eating cereal or oatmeal. The shiny enamel finish looks great from the counter to the table.
All Riess enamelware features a rim where the enamel meets the edge of the iron, leaving it exposed. This is intentional, and the nature of the manufacturing process imparts slight variation on each piece. Each piece is also hand dipped and as such, your piece may also have small spots where the finish is thinner, particularly at edges or corners. This is expected and will not affect the performance of the piece. Always dry your enamelware thoroughly and it should remain rust free. Should rust form, it can easily be removed with dishwashing soap.
