Clean Mate Mini Rust and Sap Eraser

An incredibly useful tool for cleaning up secateurs, garden shears, and carbon steel knives, Niwaki's Clean Mate is a dense scouring block that tackles resin, rust, and other stubborn buildup on blades. Use it to keep your tools in good working order and ready for the next round of pruning and trimming in the garden.

Use:  Add a few drops of Camellia Oil to the carbon steel blade or tool (water works fine too, but you'll want to oil the blade later anyway) then use the Clean Mate as you would an eraser. It has a fairly rough texture and might scratch polished surfaces, so we suggest testing before use.

After removing leaf resin, rust, and gunk, dry the tool, knife, or blade with a clean cloth and then wipe with Camellia oil and store in a dry place.
