The seventh entry in Blackwing's Eras series, this 2026 edition pays homage to the earliest Blackwing pencils ever produced—the classic 602 pencil. Featuring a dark grey matte barrel, gold ferrule with a black stripe, pink eraser, and extra-firm graphite core, these 12 pencils deliver a clean, precise line every time.

Each pencil features an extended dark gold imprint on the front and "HALF THE PRESSURE, TWICE THE SPEED" on the reverse side, the historic motto of the 602 pencil. The extra-firm core holds a point longer than standard firm graphite, reducing the need for frequent sharpening—making them well-suited for long-form writing and detailed line work.
