Crafted in Sweden and designed in Denmark, this large Skeppshult Stora Swing Spice Mill is built for serious, everyday spice grinding. Made from solid cast iron and seasoned with organic Swedish canola oil, this hand-operated mill offers the same dependable performance as the smaller Swing Spice Mill, with added capacity for frequent use or larger batches. A rounded base lets it rock smoothly in your hand, making hand grinding easy and efficient.

Its expanded top compartment stores more spices, while pyramid-shaped ridges inside grind with ease. A snug walnut lid with a silicone seal keeps contents fresh, and a black lacquered exterior helps prevent stains. With no synthetic coatings, just naturally seasoned iron, this is a durable, low-maintenance tool made to last.

Use
  • Remove the top, place dried spices in the base, replace the top, push down, and twist clockwise with one hand while holding the base with the other. 
  • Cast iron mills like this one are best for grinding dry spices. Avoid high-moisture spices, citrus, and salt, which can cause rust and corrosion.
Care

To clean, simply rinse with hot water and dry immediately. Avoid using soap or harsh scrubbers to preserve the seasoning. Not dishwasher safe.
