The Gemini is a small stovetop espresso maker that delivers two perfect cups of espresso at once. Easy to use and suitable for most common cooktops, you can experience a taste of Italian coffee culture from your own kitchen.

The Classic Gemini Espresso Maker is suitable for gas and electric stovetops.

The Induction Gemini Espresso Maker is suitable for induction, gas, and electric cooktops.

Preparing your Gemini

Before using the espresso maker, it should be carefully washed without any detergents—use baking soda or vinegar diluted in water instead. In order to prime the Gemini, we recommend discarding the first cups of coffee. If using a gas stove, keep a low flame to obtain a creamy coffee.

Do not allow the Gemini to sit on a warm burner or induction surface after the espresso has been dispensed. Leaving an empty vessel on the heating surface can cause corrosion of the inner surface of the boiler.

To make 2 servings:

  1. Fill the reservoir with water up to the second level, as indicated on the diagram. Fill the funnel with ground coffee. Level it, but don't press it down. When making 2 servings, do not use the reducer filter. Using the reducer with a full funnel of coffee can cause the reducer to break.

  2. Firmly attach the top and place the unit on the burner set to low. Position two espresso cups on the tray. The Gemini will brew two cups of espresso simultaneously.

  3. Allow the espresso maker to cool for a few minutes before opening the top, as steam and internal pressure may be present. Handle carefully, as surfaces may be hot.

To make a single serving:

  1. Fill the reservoir with water up to the first level, as indicated on the diagram. Place the reducer filter into the funnel and fill with ground coffee. Level it, but don't press it down. If you prefer a less strong cup of espresso, we recommend filling the water to the second level, but then using the reducer filter so there's less coffee.

  2. Firmly attach the top and place the unit on the burner set to low. Place an espresso cup in the center of the tray, ensuring that it is underneath both output holes. The Gemini will brew one cup's worth of espresso.

  3. Allow the espresso maker to cool for a few minutes before opening the top, as steam and internal pressure may be present. Handle carefully, as surfaces may be hot.

Replacement Parts

Over time, your Classic or Induction espresso maker may require replacement parts to keep it functioning at optimal performance. Extend the life of your Gemini with replacement parts to keep it running smoothly, ensuring a perfect brew every time.

Aluminum Funnel -  This sits in the lower chamber of the Classic Gemini, holding the ground coffee. As the water heats, it channels pressurized water up through the grounds to brew the espresso.

This aluminum funnel is only for the Classic Gemini—it is not suitable for the  Induction version.

Reducer Filter -  Fits inside the aluminum funnel of the Gemini, reducing the basket size. It lets you brew a smaller, properly extracted serving by keeping the coffee bed compact.

Silicone GasketSits between the upper and lower halves of the Gemini, creating a tight seal. It prevents steam and water from leaking so proper pressure can build for brewing.

Silicone Gasket + FilterThe silicone gasket sits between the two halves of the Gemini to create a tight, pressure-safe seal. The filter sits inside the funnel below it, holding the coffee grounds and controlling water flow for extraction.
