Yggdrasil Liv Wool Mitten

A Swedish-knit, 4-layer woolen mitten for keeping your hands toasty in all kinds of weather. 

The Yggdrasil design is inspired by the Viking-era Överhogdal tapestries with the world tree (Yggdrasil) and the bird who warned about Ragnarök. Designer Åse Öjbro's interpretation of the tree also features two humans, the horses Sleipnir & Rimfaxe, and a Christian cross at the top.

Fun fact: Öjbro Vantfabrik mittens are so good at keeping fingers warm that they're actually recommended by the Raynaud's Association!

Use:  These mittens are made for serious cold, with a four-layer construction so warm that Öjbro marks them with their Varning Varma Vantar emblem—“Warning: Warm Mittens!” Each layer works like a mitten within a mitten, trapping insulating air for maximum warmth without extra bulk. The design is also wind resistant while still breathable, and the dense wool patterns add a touch of extra warmth.
