Gabriel Bread Knife

Regular price $150.00

Every kitchen needs a reliable bread knife. The Gabriel & Solange Bread Knife from Goyon-Chazeau slices through crusty loaves while preserving the delicate crumb, handling sourdoughs and artisan breads with ease.

Handmade in Thiers, France, this knife is crafted from some of the finest cutlery steel available. Its long 8" blade features widely serrated teeth forged from X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, hardened to 54–56 HRC, with a full-tang construction that extends through the handle for added strength and balance. Along with breads, this knife is also well-suited for cutting large fruits and vegetables with thick, tough skins.

The distinctive jennywood handle is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable, ergonomic grip and a well-balanced feel in hand. Its expressive wood grain brings a unique touch to your knife collection while delivering the dependable performance expected from Goyon-Chazeau.

Goyon-Chazeau's Gabriel & Solange line is named in tribute to the company's founders Gabriel Goyon and Solange Chazeau, who believed that food becomes beautiful when it is prepared with love, even if it is simple. Crafted in the family atelier, these knives carry their spirit forward, and the packaging is even inspired by the wallpaper that hung in their kitchen.
