This set of wooden chopsticks is hand crafted in the Wakasa region of Japan, an area with over 400 years of chopstick-making tradition. Made from bamboo with a polyester urethane coating, each set includes five pairs of chopsticks in different colors, ideal for use when you have guests. The colorful finish is dishwasher safe and bacteria resistant.
A hexagonal shape offers improved grip and prevents the chopsticks from rolling off the edge of bowls or chopstick rests. These are simple, well-crafted tools designed for everyday use and make a thoughtful housewarming gift.

Products made from natural wood are subject to variations in color and grain. Your chopsticks may vary slightly in appearance from our photos.
Care: Hand washing is advised, though the maker does indicate that these are dishwasher safe. Store out of direct sunlight to avoid discoloration. Due to the nature of the finish, abrasive sponges or cleaners are not advised. Contact with highly acidic substances such as vinegar or lemon may cause the finish to deteriorate and lose its luster. Do not leave wooden utensils in standing water; do not leave them to soak in the sink. Not microwave safe.
