This A5 size, English-edition Hobonichi Techo Cousin is a page-per-day planner designed to be used with a Techo A5 Cover, sold separately.

The Techo Cousin is an English version of the classic Japanese planner book and features all of the same details that fans of the brand have come to know and love. Each day is given its own page, segmented on the left-hand side in time-of-day increments. At the top of each page is a row of check boxes, suitable for a daily to-do list or for habit tracking, and at the bottom are Hobonichi's signature quotes. Pages feature a 3.7mm grid, and each month's pages are a different color. Monthly calendars precede the daily pages.
One of the standout attributes of the Techo Cousin is its use of Tomoe River paper. This exceptional paper is both thin and strong, allowing the planner to hold many pages without becoming bulky. While Tomoe River paper is designed for all kinds of pens, including fountain pens, we do find that some inks need a few moments of drying time to avoid smudging.
