Due to the larger spout design, this kettle is not intended to produce a particularly loud whistle. The safety print on this kettle is not removable.
Care: While borosilicate glass is technically dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing your kettle. Wash before use. Be sure to secure the lid with an oven mitt or towel when pouring so that it doesn't fall off.
Mineral deposits from hard water can usually be removed by pouring a little vinegar into the kettle along with some warm water and allowing it to sit. Empty the kettle and scrub or wipe the inside, then rinse with warm water. The mineral deposits should be alleviated.
