Limited Edition No. 8 French Plane Wood Folding Knife

The original Opinel folding knife was born on the banks of a stream overlooked by the Savoie mountains. Invented in 1890 by Joseph Opinel, its simplicity, robustness, and functionality make it a noble tool.

This No. 08 features a handle made from the wood of the iconic Plane tree, emblematic of the villages of Provence. The 8.5 cm blade is made of Sandvik 12C27M stainless steel, for optimal corrosion resistance, and has a mirror finish. The Virobloc dual safety system allows the blade to be locked in an open or closed position.

This is an ideal knife for everyday carry and for uses ranging from foraging to camping and hiking.
