A classic knit watch cap made with 100% recycled fibers. Eco-cotton is a blend of reclaimed cotton fibers from discarded garment scraps combined with a small amount of nylon made from the RPET process of recycling PET bottles into fiber. In addition,zero dyes or chemicals are used in the process of creating such vibrant colors from what would otherwise be textile waste.

Yarn: This hat is made from RCotton and the yarn is milled in Spain by Ferre, a centuries old mill. Why Spain? Spain is home to the largest textile manufacturing factories in the world (think Zara) and is a country that is decades ahead of any other country in recycling post-industrial and post-consumer textile waste produced by these factories. American Trench purchases this yarn from their American partner mill in Hickory, North Carolina.
Production: Knit in Waterloo, NY, by Mozaic Organization, a not-for-profit employing, assisting, and providing services to thousands of disabled person in the Finger Lakes, NY, area. The raw knit material is then shipped in rolls to Upstate Stock's Greenpoint, Brookyln, sewing facility where it is cut, sewn, and finished by their team.
Specifications:
Care: Spot clean by hand as needed. Lay flat to dry.
Knit cotton is prone to stretch so if it is a little tight when you receive it, just a little wear will allow the cap to adjust to your head. If you feel the cap starts to feel too loose over time, you can give it a hand wash in warm water, lay flat to dry & it should spring right back.
