Jammy margarita cocktail in glass next to bar and pantry supplies on dark background

Celebrate summer’s last hurrah with a drink that marries a favorite summer cocktail with the sweet flavors of the season’s best jams.

While we are partial to Sidehill Farm’s Vermont-made jams, any jam will do. The best part of this recipe is that it can be customized to suit your taste or whatever you have on hand!

Jammy margarita cocktail in glass with lime wedge on dark background

Jammy Margarita

2 oz. tequila

1 oz. fresh lime juice

1-2 tbsp jam of your choice

Combine tequila, lime juice, and jam in a shaker with ice. (We used Sidehill Farm's Strawberry Rhubarb Jam for this one, but you can use any jam you'd like.) Shake and strain over ice into a salt-rimmed glass garnished with a lime.

For a zero-proof option, combine lime juice and jam in a shaker with ice. Strain over ice and top off with sparkling water.

Got a jam jar that’s just about empty? Mix your cocktail right in the jar! Pour in tequila and lime, give it a good shake, add ice, and enjoy!
