While potato may seem like an unlikely ingredient for hand cream, this balm is inspired by Austrian farmers of the 19th century, who knew a thing or two about work-weary hands. After a hard day's work in the fields, they would use potato juice on their hands for its potential anti-inflammatory effects.

Combined here with macadamia seed oil, shea butter, jojoba, and chamomile, potato juice (yes, you can juice a potato) creates a nourishing lotion with a pleasant, slightly powdery scent.
