Bilame Twin Blade Cork Extractor

L'Atelier du Vin originally patented this bi-blade cork puller in 1949. Its simple-but-effective design has withstood the test of time and is sought out by wine connoisseurs and sommeliers.

The unique design allows you to remove the cork from a wine bottle without piercing it with a corkscrew. This is useful for corks that are old and fragile or for broken corks. Since the cork maintains its original shape, you can also reinsert it into the bottle so that it sits flush with the top.

How does it work? The Bilame extractor features two ultra-thin blades that slide between the cork and the bottle, allowing for a smooth and clean extraction without damaging the cork. It works seamlessly with a variety of cork types and bottle sizes. The ergonomic handle provides a secure grip for effortless cork removal.

Use
  1. Slide the two blades on either side of the cork, starting with the longest one.
  2. Using a rocking motion and maintaining downward pressure, insert the blades down until the base of the handle is flush with the top of the bottle.
  3. Pull the handle while unscrewing in a rotating motion until the cork is removed from the neck.
Care

Hand wash recommended; dry thoroughly after washing.
