Every good, old fashioned New England general store of our youth had a colorful display of taper candles hanging on wooden pegs somewhere among its well-stocked shelves.
After many customer requests for taper candles, we found a local supplier and added our own prismatic candle displays to our shops.
Available in two lengths and a rainbow of colors, these tapers are hand dipped in a family-owned factory in Maine.
Use them to add warmth and glow to your tablescapes or to create ambiance in your living spaces; they're also suitable for everyday use and make a nice addition to a housewarming gift.

Specifications:
Use: Separate the candles by cutting the wick in the middle, then trim each candle's wick to 1/4". Secure the candle firmly in a candleholder before lighting, and make sure it's situated away from flammable materials and out of the reach of children.
Further Reading: Danica is owned and operated by Erik Laustsen, who learned the craft of candle making from his family in Denmark. Erik and his team have been making candles in Rockport, Maine since the 1980s.
