Further Reading: Pot clay is a finite natural resource created in the earth over long periods of time. Once fired, it cannot decompose back into its original state and as such, many clay products end up in landfills. The Greenlife 21 Project endeavors to recycle earthenware, turning it into new products in a process that mixes pulverized ceramics with new clay. Tripware has turned this recycled ceramic clay into functional tableware products for the home.
