Tamanohada’s Welcome Soap makes a thoughtful gift for hosts and hostesses, new home owners, and houseguests. Housed in a beautiful textured-paper gift box, this large, fish-shaped soap-on-a-rope is made in Japan from entirely plant-based ingredients.
The shape of the soap is inspired by the red bream fish which is known as tai in Japan, where it symbolizes good fortune, happiness, and prosperity. Its intricate design is crafted using a technique inspired by the wooden molds traditionally used to make the Japanese sweet called Rakugan.
Available in two scents—Lily and Muscovado—the soap has a smooth, moisturizing texture and is designed to gently scent the skin. It will also impart its fragrance to the space around it.
When another bottle of wine feels like too ordinary of a present, give this charming fish-shaped soap instead!
Materials: sodium palmate, water, sodium palm kernelate, glycerin, sorbitol, palm kernel acid, fragrance, sodium chloride, tetrasodium etidronate, tetrasodium EDTA
Muscovado variety also contains iron oxides and charcoal powder.
Lily variety also contains titanium dioxide.
