The Blackwing 71 is a tribute to Frank Lloyd Wright and his architectural ambition. This limited edition Blackwing 71 Legal Pad Set includes one rectangle grid legal pad and one triangle grid legal pad. Each legal pad measures 9" x 12", a standard architecture paper size known as "ARCH A."

Frank Lloyd Wright used a variety of geometric grids to lay out the floor plans of his Usonian homes: rectangular, hexagonal, circular, and triangular.

In addition to the architectural plans, he used the grids to determine the scale and forms for many aspects of the homes, including the perforated boards that adorn the windows and laylights. In this way, Wright could be sure that all elements of the building would be in harmony with each other.

Each Blackwing Legal Pad comes with 50 pages of 80 GSM ivory paper that is sewn-bound and perforated, so it only tears away when you need it to.
