Heat-Activated Fabric Dressing

Heat-activated dressing wax waterproofs fabrics and protects from harsh weather around the calendar year. Fabric Dressing is perfect for waterproofing unwaxed items, but it’s also a great option for those that want to use an all-natural wax treatment to re-waterproof their factory-waxed and oiled jackets. Applies easily when melted with a natural bristle brush, soft cloth and elbow grease.

Materials: 100% natural proprietary recipe (no petroleum, no silicone, non-toxic)

Made by: Otter Wax

Made in: Portland, Oregon

Specifications: 1/2 pint

Instructions: The application process contains a few more steps than wax bars, but the extra effort yields fantastic results. Applying hot wax penetrates deep into fabrics and dramatically reduces cure time.

  1. Place tin in 1.5" cool water.
  2. Use heating element to simmer until melted.
  3. Apply with a brush or lint-free cloth.
  4. Use only as much wax as can be absorbed.
  5. Rub into fabric with fingers for uniformity.
  6. Allow 24-48 hours for wax to cure.
  7. Remove spot stains with Canvas Cleaner.
  8. Deodorize with Odor Eliminator.
