These MT Washi Tapes feature heritage designs inspired by Kamoi Kakoshi’s original flypaper patterns—an artful nod to the company’s beginnings in 1923. Founded by Toshiro Kamoi as a maker of flypaper, Kamoi Kakoshi evolved into a trusted manufacturer of industrial masking tapes before entering the world of stationery in 2008 with their now-iconic "mt" line.
One of these designs was included in our Spring 2025 Office Club parcel, which celebrated Japanese heritage stationery. The patterns, drawn from Kamoi’s early archives, highlight the intersection of past and present and bring historical charm to your journaling, gift wrapping, or paper crafts.
