Paired with a cover inspired by Virginia Lee Burton's famous picture book, The Little House, this Techo Original A5 is a compact English-language journal with one page per day. Designed to capture everything from daily notes and reflections to sketches, lists, and passing thoughts, Hobonichi calls it a Life Book—a place for recording the moments, memories, and details that make up everyday life.

In a sky blue color, the A5 cover has butterfly-style pen loops to keep your writing utensil handy, while also securing the cover shut. The outside of the cover has the art of The Little House centered on the front and back, with charming depictions of apple trees and daisies outside the cottage. When open, you'll find a mint green interior with ample pockets for keeping stickers, clippings, and other bits of daily ephemera.

For 2026, Hobonichi Techo Covers will only be available in the United States when purchased with a Techo Book. New covers will not be sold separately.
