Ironquill Knife & Hook Sharpening Stone
Don't let your pocket knives and fish hooks live a dull life. This high-grade, natural sharpening stone is made from novaculite stone quarried in the Ouachita Mountains of Central Arkansas.
Novaculite, only found in North America, is a very dense stone that makes for a perfect whetstone for sharpening knives, hooks and other tools.

Use: Best when used with quality honing oil.
- Put a small amount of honing oil on your stone. Lay your blade flat on the stone with the cutting edge of the knife facing away from you.
- Tilt the back of the blade up to approximately a 23° angle.
- Push the knife away from you, like you are trying to carve a thin slice off the top of the stone. Repeat this stroke three times.
- Repeat these steps for the other side of the blade.
