Dish Washing Soap

Marius Fabre's dishwashing liquid is made with Marseille soap flakes at their family-owned soap factory in Salon-de-Provence, France. The recipe has been in use by the family for four generations. 

Made with plant-based cleaning agents, it is an efficient degreaser and cleaner and is easy to rinse. It's also hypoallergenic and easy on the hands. 

Available in a 16.9 oz bottle with a pump and also a 33.8 oz refill bottle. 

Materials:  aqua, ammonium lauryl sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, lactic acid, sodium chloride, potassium hydroxide, sodium cocoate, sodium sunflowerseedate, benzoic acid, glycerin, sodium hydroxide

Specifications:  

  • bottle with pump: 16.9 fl oz (500mL)
  • refill (no pump): 33.8 oz (1L)

Use:   

  • For regular dishwashing press once (2.5ml) directly onto a sponge. Wash and rinse.
  • For difficult or very dirty dishes : soak the dishes, using 2 pumps for every 5 liters of water (about 1 1/3 gallon). Rinse.
  • To give your dishwashing liquid a pleasant scent, add around ten drops of essential oils.

Further Reading: Savon de Marseille, or Marseille Soap, has been made in France for 600 years. Only a handful of soap makers in the world today still craft Marseille soap by the original standards.
