Inspired by the elegant textures and patterns of Japanese textiles, the Kakimori Y. & SONS Sparrows A5 Notebook provides a dedicated space for everyday sketches, journaling, or notes.

Y. & SONS, a specialty store for men’s kimonos, custom-measures, constructs, and tailors traditional Japanese garments with meticulous attention to detail. Inspired by Ito Jakuchu's painting Autumn Pond and Sparrows, this flock of birds is depicted using traditional stencil dyeing techniques, capturing a sense of rhythm and movement. Each notebook is cut from a larger piece of fabric, so the placement of the pattern naturally varies—making every cover subtly unique.

Inside, every detail is thoughtfully designed for daily use. The Smyth-sewn binding allows pages to lie fully flat, creating an A4 spread. The premium Yamamoto OK Fools paper, subtly printed with a gray 5mm grid, is fountain pen-friendly to provide a smooth and luxurious writing experience with every pen stroke.
