Further Reading:  Yumiko Sekine founded Fog Linen in 1999 after visiting Lithuania, where flax is grown and spun into linen. Unable to find the simple, everyday linens she remembered from her childhood, she partnered with a local mill to create her own designs. What began with just seven items has grown into a full collection of linen goods, clothing, and brass homewares—all inspired by Sekine’s belief in creating beautiful, functional products for daily life.
