Upstate Stock's Ragg Wool and Leather Gloves are a perennial favorite among our customers for the excellent insulation and warmth they provide. Made entirely in the USA, these gloves feature deerskin leather palms for grip and durability.
Ragg wool is a traditional workwear/gardening wool blend. Wool has excellent moisture-wicking and heat-retention properties, even when wet, and the addition of nylon in the yarn allows for shape retention & durability.
The palm is cut from deerskin that is sourced from state-sanctioned wildlife control. Each hide is ethically culled and tanned in Upstate New York and all parts of the deerskin are used to reduce waste. The palm is then cut & sewn in Brooklyn, NY.
All cuff hems are sewn with an elastic thread to help retain cuff shape even after washing. It's small details like this that make these gloves an essential choice for anyone seeking both functionality and style in their cold-weather gear. With their thoughtful construction and high-quality materials, these gloves not only provide superior warmth but also stand up to the rigors of daily use, ensuring they remain a reliable companion for years to come.
