Fastfolk Emilia & Einar Wool Blanket

Woven in Sweden in a Nordic pattern rooted in tradition, this Fastfolk Emilia & Einar Wool Blanket from Öjbro Vantfabrik combines warmth, utility, and craftsmanship. Made from soft, insulating wool, it's well-suited for chilly nights or cozy evenings by the fire.

Fästfolk is a Swedish term for an engaged couple. Hearts decorate this pattern with a reindeer couple and a human couple on it - it is a tribute to the unity of marriage, making this a thoughtful engagement gift or wedding present for newlyweds!

From the designer, Åse Öjbro

When you love, give everything you have. And when you reach the limit, give even more, and forget how it hurts.
In the end, only the love you have given and received is counted.
Your partner has chosen to share their life with you, you give your days to each other.
I dedicate this pattern to all current and future couples.

Further Reading:  Öjbro Vantfabrik is a family-run Swedish design and manufacturing company located in Ulricehamn, Västergötland, Sweden. They draw inspiration from nature and the rich cultural heritage of Swedish knitting traditions to produce colorful interpretations of Nordic patterns in cozy, woolen knitwear.

Their focus on slow fashion prioritizes goods of high quality and good design with reduced environmental impact. By partnering with small factory cooperatives in Sweden and Europe, they take a “quality over quantity” approach to producing their colorful mittens, hats, and socks.
