Stain Remover Marseille Soap Set
This pack of Marseille soaps from Marius Fabre contains two bars, each with effective stain-removing properties.
The darker soap is an olive-oil Marseille soap that contains Terre de Sommières, an absorbent natural clay. Use this bar on dark fabrics to remove all kinds of stains, from coffee & tea to grass & dirt.
The lighter soap is Marius Fabre's Marseille laundry soap, enhanced with the whitening power of baking soda. Use this one on lighter fabrics, where it's effective on all types of stains, including blood, grease, and wine.
Olive oil Marseille soap has a distinct natural scent, often described as earthy or grassy. While many appreciate its simplicity and lack of added fragrance, it may not appeal to everyone.

Use:
- Wet the stain-removing soap slightly. Rub soap directly on the stain.
- For difficult stains, leave it for 15-30 minutes before laundering. A clean, repurposed toothbrush with soft bristles makes a nice tool for gently loosening stains.
- Hand wash or toss in the washing machine using cold water and laundry soap—we recommend Marseille Soap Flakes!
Further Reading: Savon de Marseille, or Marseille Soap, has been made in France for 600 years. Only a handful of soap makers in the world today still craft Marseille soap by the original standards. Marius Fabre prides itself on being one of those remaining makers, crafting their products for over 110 years.
