With a retro color-block pattern, classic black eraser, and silver ferrule, the 343 pencil stands as a handsome co-star alongside Blackwing's iconic lineup.

Broadcast television created a cultural leveling that connected audiences not just to stories, but to one another. The same signal reached both downtown apartments and homes at the end of country roads. Millions sat together, apart, watching history unfold through breaking news, legendary films, and world-changing events.

That shared visual language—instantly recognizable across households—now finds new life in the Blackwing 343. Each pencil features a color bar design inspired by the NTSC test pattern and Blackwing’s extra-firm graphite. Its volume number nods to the 343 scanlines of early CRT televisions, imprinted in a “TV snow” silver holographic foil.
