Since 1900 and for four generations, the Fabre family has been making soap in Salon-de-Provence, France. A true Savon-de-Marseille, it's cooked in cauldrons using traditional Marseille soap-making methods.

This 1 kg soap block comes with a wood and wire cutter, for slicing off bar soap-sized pieces to be used around the home. Made from 100% vegetable-based ingredients with no added coloring, fragrance, or synthetic products, Marius Fabre's olive oil Marseille soap is particularly gentle on the skin and on the environment.

Marseille soap has a distinct natural scent, often described as earthy or grassy. While many appreciate its simplicity and lack of added fragrance, it may not appeal to everyone.

Marseille soap may naturally shrink over time as excess water continues to evaporate—a sign of its traditional long curing process. This gradual drying produces a firmer, longer-lasting bar while maintaining full effectiveness. The listed net weight (1 kg) reflects the product at the time of packaging, while gradual evaporation may reduce weight without affecting quality or performance.
