Nishiguchi Kutsushita: A Spring Color Story Inspired by Boston

Nishiguchi Kutsushita is a Japanese sock company dedicated to creating products of exceptional value by combining natural materials with thoughtful design. Using fibers like linen, cotton, hemp, and wool, they knit socks that make feet feel their best in all seasons.

When planning out new seasonal colors, Nishiguchi draws inspiration from cities around the world. This year’s Seasonal Color Story was inspired by none other than our hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.

We’ve added several new Nishiguchi styles to our Spring Sock Collection, and three of them feature colors inspired by our favorite city.

Hemp Cotton Ribbed Sock in Boston Brick

Like the townhouses of Beacon Hill, this sock’s warm brick-red color is flecked with bits of white. Hemp blended into the cotton yarn makes this sock great for warm-weather wear and for long walks along the Freedom Trail.

Silk Cotton Socks in Amazon

From the MBTA’s Green Line to Fenway’s beloved Green Monster and the verdant expanse of the Emerald Necklace, green is a color seen throughout Boston, and this silk-blend sock wears it well. The moisture-wicking and temperature-regulating qualities of silk make this sock great for year-round wear.

Cotton Cashmere Walking Socks in Red Sox

This two-tone sock features a pop of bright red in a nod to the Boston Red Sox. The sock’s cushioned foot bed offers unparalleled comfort all the way through the 9th inning and beyond!

These three styles represent just a few new additions to our spring sock lineup.

Take a look at our  Accessories Collection, where you’ll find all of our new additions as well as perennial favorites.
