Introductions

February 07, 2013

I spent a great deal of time thinking about what our first blog should be about. Think...Think...Think...Coffee kept coming to mind but that could be because I've just consumed a french press full. Before I start talking about all the great products I've found since starting this baby of mine, The Boston General Store, I thought I would say hello and introduce myself.

My name is April Gabriel and I'm a Texas transplant in Boston. I moved here to be with my wonderful husband but have come to call this place home. My education is in Architecture which is what gave me a love for well designed and well made products. So my search is on to find really exciting items and carefully let them into my home and hopefully yours too. I'm always open for suggestions or product requests. I love a great search for that one item you can't live without. So give me a holler, I'd love to hear from you!

The flowers start to bloom, birds are chirping, and thank goodness for clocks moving forward because this is about the time we start to beg  for more sunshine.

So, with nature slowly getting us ready for all those lazy beach days and trips to the Cape, it’s time to start thinking about one thing and one thing only...the annual ritual of spring cleaning.
