Mini Kenzan Set

Niwaki's little set of four Mini Kenzan offer a minimalist alternative to bud vases, for tiny arrangements of your most delicate flowers.

Traditionally used for ikebana flower displays, Kenzan are becoming increasingly popular for western style flower arranging, doing away with less-sustainable florists foam or water beads. Also known as flower frogs or pin frogs, they can be placed in the bottom of a shallow dish of water and used to hold small flowers and stems upright.

Materials: brass, lead

Made by: Niwaki

Made in: Japan

Specifications: These are VERY small! Each kenzan measures just under 1" wide. The set of four fits in a box that is just 3" x 3".

Further Reading:Niwaki (knee-whacky) means garden tree. In Japan, gardens are both landscapes and microcosms of nature. Shaping and caring for these landscapes is an art form, and having the correct tools is essential. Niwaki’s tools exemplify the good design and quality construction that we look for as purveyors.
