Le P'tit Tradi and The Grand Tradi Knife Set

Made in France by heritage cutlery brand Goyon-Chazeau, this knife set combines Le P'tit Tradi and Le Grand Tradi—two ultra-versatile, multi-purpose knives—making it an essential pairing for every kitchen.

Le Grand Tradi is a larger version of the P’tit Tradi, designed by Vincent Soucille in 2022. It was created for tasks that require a bigger blade, while still maintaining the handy qualities of the original P’tit Tradi.

Handmade in the Goyon-Chazeau workshop in Thiers, France, these superior quality knives are made from one of the best cutlery steels available: Sandvik 14C28N steel enriched with carbon. The ebony and sapwood handles are smooth and comfortable in the hand, as any frequently reached-for tool should be. The two-toned wood has marked shades ranging from honey to brown. Also called Mozambic ebony, it is the hardest, densest, and most waterproof of all raw woods.

Materials:   ebony with sapwood handle, Sandvik 14C28N hardened blade, charged with carbon (56-58HRC)

  • We recommend washing the knives by hand with a soft sponge.
  • Do not leave the handle in prolonged contact with water or a heat source.
  • Wood handled knives should never go in the dishwasher.
  • Wipe off as soon as washing is finished.
  • Store in a dry place.
  • Sharpen the cutting edge as soon as the knife seems to give more resistance when cutting.
