Yutanpo Hot Water Bottle

Japanese hot water bottles (yutanpo) are hard-sided vessels designed to bring warmth to cool sheets, chilly sleeping bags, or anywhere that a little extra heat is needed.

Simply wrap the yutanpo in a blanket or towel, then fill it with hot water. We highly recommend pairing your yutanpo with Matsunoya's Melton Wool Hot Water Bottle Cover as the bottle can not be used directly against the skin.

Materials: body: galvanized steel; cap: brass, iron wire, stainless steel, synthetic rubber; funnel: polyethylene

Made by:  Matsunoya

Made in:  Japan

Use:

The Yutanpo Hot Water Bottle cannot be placed directly against the skin. Wrap your bottle in a blanket, towel, or cover to guard against burns.

Use only hand-hot water from the tap. Do not fill with boiling water or heat the water bottle with external heating sources.

Fill the water bottle using the included funnel. Take care when handling the bottle to prevent against burns.

Ensure that the cap is tightly sealed after adding water to prevent hot water from leaking and causing harm.

Keep out of reach of small children and pets.

Care:  Do not use anything other than clean water in your yutanpo. Hard water may cause corrosion after time.
