Pine and Basil Frozen Mojitos

Serving size 2-4 cocktails

3 oz white rum- we used Colorado Montanya Rum
2 oz Pine Syrup
2 oz fresh squeeze lime juice
6 shakes DRAMHair of The Dog Bitters
1/4 cup fresh basil, plus some leaves for garnish
1/4 cup fresh mint
fresh sliced limes for garnish
ice

In a blender combine the rum, pine syrup, lime juice and bitters. Pour into a freezer safe container and freeze for 1 hour, or overnight. The idea behind this is to add a frozen mix to the blender with ice before blending-, which will help the drink stay frozen longer on hot days.

After the mixture has frozen add it to a blender with 4-6 cups ice and fresh basil and mint. Blend until smooth.  Pour mixture over ice and garnish with fresh cut limes and basil.
