Protect your A6 and A5 planners and notebooks with The Superior Labor's leather notebook cover, an elegant and minimalist accessory that's made for everyday use. Crafted from durable, vegetable-tanned natural leather, it offers a simple but refined look that improves with age, darkening and developing a patina over time.
Suitable for use with planners like MD, Hobonichi, or Stalogy, it guards against bumps, spills, and scratches, taking them and turning them into a well-worn cover that tells the story of your travels and moments of inspiration.
Each notebook cover comes packaged in a protective cotton drawstring bag. Both the cover and the bag feature The Superior Labor's "Standard and Strong" logo, which bears the motto "We take pride in craftsmanship and never skimp on time and effort", making this a perfect gift for anyone who values a beautiful, well-made product.
Materials: vegetable-tanned cow leather
Made by: The Superior Labor
Made in: Japan
Specifications:
The Superior Labor uses natural leather, which will develop scuffs and scratches over time. This is an intentional material choice and adds to the development of the leather's character and patina. Some scuffs or scratches may occur during the manufacturing process and therefore may be present when you receive your item.
Natural leather will vary in color, thickness, and texture. Photos show a close representation of these elements, but there may be slight variation in the finished product you receive.
As this cover is made by hand, some (slight) variation in the above measurements may be expected.
Cover only. Insert not included.
Care: Exposing the leather to water may lead to stains or color transfer.
Further Reading: As a child, Makoto Kawai would drill metal in his grandfather's workshop, where he associated the smell of burning iron and oil with the industry of hardworking adults. He eventually became an auto repairman himself and later worked at a secondhand clothing wholesaler. In the mid-90s, a trip to America to buy clothes led him to meet a leather craftsman, sparking his interest in leatherwork. In 2007, he founded The Superior Labor. His experience in auto repair has influenced the brand's manufacturing and their mission to take pride in craftsmanship and never skimp on time and effort.
