Hobonichi Techo Weeks - yuge fabric farm: Fish Scale Crest

A Hobonichi Techo Weeks planner with a brocade woven cover with an "uroko" design: triangles that symbolize scales. This pattern has its origins in ancient China. The intricacy of the weave is easily seen in vibrant yellow.

This English-language, weekly-edition Hobonichi Techo is a compact book that’s easy to carry everywhere. Each page spread offers a week of planning and a blank page for note-taking. The book is slim and portable — roughly the size of a long wallet — with plenty of cover designs to choose from. The main layout of the book consists of a weekly calendar on the left page and blank graph paper on the right page. Each weekly spread also contains a characteristic Hobonichi quote on the bottom of the page.

Though it appears slim at first glance, the Weeks book contains a full year's worth of pages along with 71 graph-ruled memo pages at the end for note-taking. It's crafted from Tomoe River Paper, which is thin yet strong and resistant to ink bleeding and feathering.

Constructed like a light hardcover book, the cover has some give to it so it bends a bit in the hand.
