Hobonichi Techo Weeks - Tokyo National Museum: Hasegawa Tohaku Pine Forest - Japanese, April Start

The artwork on this cover for the Hobonichi Techo Weeks was inspired by Hasegawa Tohaku's piece "Pine Forest", which resides in the Tokyo National Museum as a Japanese National Treasure.

This weeks book is a Japanese-language planner. Unlike most English-language planners, this planner starts in April and goes through March, coinciding with the start of the Japanese fiscal year and school terms.

The cover features stately pine trees rendered in ink and brushwork. It is a light hardcover, meaning it has some give to it so it bends slightly in the hand.
