Vintage Pencils Collection

Made in a family-run factory, Viarco pencils are constructed using traditional methods and quality materials, for a writing tool that is versatile and well made. They are iconic in Portugal, having been crafted there since 1907, and are used by schoolchildren, artists, writers, and everyone in between.

The Vintage Pencil Collection is a reintroduction of Viarco's classic designs from the 1940s to the 1960s.

1950 - yellow hexagonal No. 2 pencils
1951 - multicolor No. 2 pencils with a hexagonal shape and a white stripe
2000 - multicolor No. 2 pencils with a pearlized finish and hexagonal shape
272 - a blue pencil with violet-colored graphite that contains water-soluble ink*
3000 - multicolor No. 2 pencils with a pearlized finish and a rounded shape
3500 - No. 2 pencils with a hexagonal shape in a fun & festive red

*Also known as copying pencils, these pencils were used to make copies of documents during WWI and later were used to make indelible writings or marks without the need for ink and pen.
