Face Brush

A hand-crafted wooden face brush available in two varieties, for wet or dry use.

The dark-bristled horsehair brush is meant to be used wet with cleansing products to remove dirt and makeup while providing gentle exfoliation. By brushing off dead skin cells, skin is made softer, pores clearer, and your skin is primed to better absorb skincare product. Use this brush wet with your facial cleaning lotion, massaging the brush in gentle circles over your face to clean and refresh your skin.

The light-bristled goat hair brush is meant for dry brushing. Use the brush dry on a clean, dry face. Massage with circular motions for 5 minutes once or twice a week, avoiding the eyes and mouth. Effectively removes dead skin cells and gives the skin new luster.

Materials: oil-treated walnut, dark horsehair or goat hair

Made by: Iris Hantverk

Made in: Sweden

Specifications: 3.9" x 1.8"

Use:

Dark-bristled horsehair: Rinse the brush after use and let it dry on the bristles to allow the water to drain away from the wood. Clean the brush by placing a small amount of your cleansing cream, mild shampoo or soap in your palm then circulating the brush through it a few times. Rinse, then let dry.

Light-bristled goat hair: Clean your brush ones a week by sprinkling corn-starch on the bristles and massage gently into the brush, then shake it all out. It will absorb and remove any excessive oil and dirt.

Further Reading: Iris Hantverk brushes are manufactured in small workshops where adults with visual impairments are trained in traditional Swedish brush binding techniques. Their brushes combine good design with quality, natural materials and solid craftsmanship.
