The Dovo Shavette is a great choice for someone who might be new to shaving with a straight razor. Manufactured from lightweight aluminum with an interchangeable blade system, it is easier to handle than other straight razors. The grained olive wood handle provides a comfortable hold.
The Dovo Shavette uses standard razor blades, available here. By using a razor that requires only replacement blades instead of disposable razors or cartridges, you are reducing the amount of plastic that ends up in our landfills and oceans.

Use: Start by sliding the blade holder out of your Shavette. Break a classic razor blade lengthwise in the paper and carefully insert one half into the blade holder. Slide the blade holder back into the Shavette and you're ready to start shaving.
Care: The Shavette is a fairly low-maintenance razor. Rinsing off the blade holder and handle and wiping it dry with a clean cloth or towel should be enough to maintain it. You can occasionally apply a drop of oil to the swivel joint if you find over time that it doesn't open as easily.
